Zetafax - Conversor de documentos
Zetafax traduce los tipos de documentos más usados habitualmente (como por ejemplo documentos de procesadores de textos y hojas de cálculo) en documentos en formato TIFF de modo que se puedan enviar como adjuntos por fax. Los usuarios que necesiten adjuntar documentos en formatos menos comunes o más especializados necesitarán el componente adicional de Zetafax - Conversor de Documentos.
Utilizando este componente adicional, Zetafax puede convertir más de 250 tipos de ficheros diferentes, incluyendo documentos de texto, hojas de cálculo, presentaciones, graficos y bases de datos en formato TIFF de fax sin necesidad de instalar la aplicación correspondiente en el servidor de Zetafax. Con el Conversor de Documentos, el servidor de Zetafax mejora en las siguientes áreas:
Cliente Web
Los usuarios del Cliente Web podrán añadir cualquier tipo de archivo (que esté soportado por el Conversor de Documentos) a un nuevo mensaje de fax saliente.
Kit de herramientas API
Los usuarios del kit de herramientas API podrán enviar por fax adjuntos de cualquier tipo desde una tercera aplicación, porque Zetafax los traduciría en documentos de formato TIFF. Sin el Document Conversión Add-on, los usuarios del cliente web solo pueden enviar texto ASCII y los archivos gráficos de formato BMB, JPG y TIF.
Pasarela Email
La pasarela de correo electrónico puede configurarse para usar terceras aplicaciones (sólo para algunos tipos de formato de archivo) o el Conversor de Documentos para convertir los archivos adjuntos al formato fax TIFF. Si se usa el Conversor de Documentos no es necesario instalar esas terceras aplicaciones en el servidor de fax.
